Reduce
Every effort is made on property and in our fleet of trucks to conserve energy & resources, reduce emissions, make use of existing resources and light as well as intelligently vary the output based on time of day. Beyond our carbon footprint, Jacmar Foodservice is diligent in extending the lifecycle of our consumables – from adding skirts on our trailers to improve aerodynamics (which reduces fuel consumption), to reducing or eliminating paper from our communications & reporting systems wherever practical.
Recycle
Jacmar Foodservice recycles an average of 90 tons of cardboard and 22 tons of plastic wrap a year, but our efforts don’t stop there. Jacmar actively recycles all office related paper waste and stocks office paper products that contain recycled components and/or are certified sourcing in conjunction with the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
Restore
From providing sourcing solutions for its customers who seek environmentally friendly products such as recyclable/recycled products, organic/natural products and locally sourced options, to contributing to charities and benefits, Jacmar Foodservice is committed to giving back to both the environment and social causes as part of its daily operations.
