JACMAR HISTORY
Named for the two founding partners, Jack Tilley and Mark Boyer Jacmar Foodservice certainly had humble beginnings. William Tilley began selling glassware and other sundries to motels and apartment houses near his home from an old shack at the back of a Montebello, CA. parking lot. By 1966, Jacmar had grown its customer base to include many restaurants and moved into its first distribution center in Alhambra. Outgrowing several warehouses since, Jacmar Foodservice now operates two state of the art warehouse facilities with a combined distribution capacity of over 170,000 square feet. Jacmar Foodservice Southern California, located in Irwindale, CA. services the entire southern area of California and parts of Nevada. Jacmar Foodservice Northern California located in a brand new facility in West Sacramento services the northern area of California and parts of northern Nevada.
